Amanda Hall - Director of Recruitment:
How long with NM? 3 years
Prior Experience? Amanda was a Class A PGA Certified Golf Professional at The Ocean Course on Kiawah Island where she oversaw the daily operations at the 5-star championship facility. She assisted in facilitating the 2021 PGA Championship along with 200 other corporate and recreational outings for resort guests. Prior to that, she played Division 1 golf at The University of South Carolina Upstate.

Patrick Smith – Chief Growth Officer and Financial Advisor:
How long with NM? 5 years
Prior Experience? Patrick came to Northwestern with eight years of corporate sales experience, primarily in the professional hockey space where he was responsible for key sponsorship contracts for the South Carolina Stingrays organization. Prior to that, Patrick played collegiate tennis for Kennesaw State University.
Passionate About? Patrick’s passions include his family, personal development, giving back to his community and the success and growth of the Northwestern Mutual Coastal S.C. area.
Daniel Harris - Field Director and Financial Advisor:
How long with NM? 5 years
Prior Experience? After playing college golf at Newbury College, Danny played professionally on several mini tours as well as on Nationwide Tour events. Following that, he transitioned into a tech sales role in Charleston, S.C and gained experience in software solutions.
Passionate About? Danny is passionate about his family and helping his clients make strategic financial decisions that will better impact their lives.
Spencer Schulz - Financial Advisor:
How long with NM? 6 years
Prior Experience? Spencer was a Northwestern Mutual college Intern prior to joining the full-time career. During his college career, Spencer earned an NCAA Championship for the Rowing team at The University of Washington.
Passionate About? Spencer is passionate about traveling and experiencing different cultures with his wife, Hailey, and their pup, Winnie. He also loves competing in marathons and enjoying great food, delicious wine, and coffee!
Jenny Phillips - Financial Representative:

Prior Experience? Prior to Northwestern Mutual, Jenny was in the healthcare industry, specializing in pharmaceutical account management. She also has a background in agricultural commodity sales. Jenny is also a former NCAA swimmer from the University of Illinois.

Key Responsibilities: As a Financial Advisor, your primary role will be to engage with clients to understand their comprehensive financial needs, providing personalized guidance to help them achieve their financial protection and planning goals. You will design and implement tailored strategies that safeguard clients' assets, income, and overall financial well-being, ensuring their long-term security. Regularly reviewing and updating clients' financial plans and insurance policies to reflect any changes in their circumstances or goals will be crucial to ensure continuous protection. Additionally, you will cultivate a robust network of clients through referrals, active community involvement, and professional associations.
Qualifications: We prefer candidates with a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related discipline. While prior experience in insurance, financial services, or business development is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Successful candidates will possess excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, strong analytical skills, and the capability to build lasting client relationships. We welcome individuals from business development-oriented organizations with uncapped earnings potential, including those from Medical Device, Education (teachers, administrators), Logistics, Solar, Payroll Services, Tech Business Development, Real Estate, Auto Rental and others. You will be required to obtain state insurance licenses, with training provided and sponsorship considered.
