Position Overview: Counseling for Your Long Island is seeking a dynamic and organized Client Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face and voice of our practice. This role is ideal for an individual passionate about delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth communication, excellent client care, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for incoming calls, managing a high volume of phone inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Coordinate client appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling with attention to detail and accuracy.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing questions, concerns, and requests in a timely and compassionate manner.
Multitask efficiently by managing phone communications, scheduling, and administrative tasks simultaneously.
Prioritize client care by maintaining confidentiality (HIPAA knowledge is a plus)
Calm, solution-focused demeanor during all client interactions.
Support therapists and administrative staff by handling client intake forms, payments, and other documentation.
Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and provide proactive communication to clients and staff.
Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the office.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service, front desk, or administrative roles (preferably in a high-volume setting).
Strong multitasking abilities with a proven capacity to manage competing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Familiarity with scheduling software or practice management systems is a plus.
A friendly and approachable personality, with a focus on creating a positive client experience.

Pay Range:
$18-$21/hour experience pending
Shifts Needed: part-time and full-time positions
M-F 1-9pm OR
3-pm
Sat/Sun
9-5pm
