We are seeking an additional full-time Client Care Specialist to join our team at our Sunset Hills location. We are interested in full-time paralegals with experience, new paralegals who recently obtained their certification (or are working toward their certification), and anyone with a demonstrated interest in criminal law, with or without experience. A Paralegal Certificate is not required, but a passion for criminal defense and helping people is. Client Care Specialists work alongside our attorneys to keep clients well-informed about their cases, to answer their questions, to obtain information and documents, and to provide an outstanding client experience. Client Care Specialists must always know the status of their cases and complete various tasks to keep the cases moving forward, making it one of the most important jobs in the firm. The responsibilities for this position include the following: • Receiving and responding to client telephone calls, e-mail messages, and text messages. • Filing, organizing, and reviewing discovery. • Sending discovery to clients. • Communicating with prosecutors, court personnel, and clients. • Scheduling meetings. • Revising and sending monthly reports to clients. • Drafting, serving, and filing subpoenas. • Back-up responsibilities for other functions in the office, including Intake and Client Onboarding. • General office support/administrative duties, as needed. • While intake isn't the primary focus, this role involves becoming familiar with our Intake System, engaging with incoming leads via phone calls, and facilitating the sign-up process. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role will be an organized, responsible, honest self-starter with a positive attitude who is eager to learn and motivated to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients. Compensation: $22 - $27 hourly
