    Jacob William Advisory, an independent advisory firm in Cockeysville, MD, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for helping others to join our growing team as a Client Service Associate. This position plays an important role in supporting our Advisors and creating an exceptional customer experience for clients as we work to bring clarity and understanding to their financial lives. This individual will be responsible for assisting Advisors in client meetings, building financial plans, and implementing proposed strategies. This position will also service clients front to back, from client inquiries and requests, to account opening and account maintenance. The Client Service Associate must be able to manage multiple tasks at a time while maintaining professional poise and courtesy to clients and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities: • Client operations, inquiries, requests, and communication • Oversee and own Financial Planning Process • Enter client data into financial planning software programs and spreadsheets • Generate financial analyses and financial plans for clients and coordinate with Advisor • Develop a close, long-term relationship with clients, in conjunction with Advisor, to understand client’s current circumstances and future needs or wishes • Coordinate with the Director of Investments for Client portfolio management • Assist clients with operational inquiries, requests, and problems Qualifications: • Knowledge of Financial Advisor office tools (i.e. Orion, Salesforce, etc.) and custodians (Fidelity, Schwab) preferred • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook required • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills • Excellent attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation • A genuine interest in serving and caring for other people • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks with precision • Analytical and research skills • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve • Desire to provide the highest quality of service • High level of attention to detail • Bachelor’s degree in finance or similar field preferred or commensurate career experience • 2+ years of experience in the financial industry preferred Compensation: $65,000+ yearly
