    Location: Wallingford, Connecticut

    Status: Full-time, in office, 9 to 5 pm ET

    Salary: $90,000 - $100,000

    As a Client Service Associate you can expect to:

    • Intake, screen, organize and process all data that you are able, focus the advisors' attention on the items that require their personal attention, and ensure that all activities are captured, scheduled, and completed
    • Coordinate the advisors' calendar availability; appropriately blocking time and coordinating commitments with the team
    • Respond to client questions and concerns regarding general account information, withdrawals, transfers, healthcare, Social Security, financial planning, and investments
    • Follow-up on outstanding transactions with the broker/dealer, Commonwealth Financial Network (e.g. transfers)
    • Track and tally all outstanding work weekly
    • Use excellent client service skills to build client relationships; manage and resolve any client issues, service client accounts/portfolios, including in person, over the phone, and behind the scenes
    • Develop, communicate, and implement effective processes, including growth strategies, workflow initiatives, and improvement in the client experience
    • Execute trades in a client’s portfolio to raise money for distributions as well as rebalance accounts under the advisor’s direction
    • Fulfill business operations tasks such as paying bills on behalf of the firm each month, submitting 401(K) plan contributions, etc.
    • Create and distribute general and individual informational mailings to clients
    • Electronically file client statements, correspondence, agreements, and so forth
    • Maintain client CRM system to ensure accuracy and maximize effectiveness of date
    • Create and regularly update the office procedure manual
    • Convey an experienced understanding of compliance requirements in all areas

    Qualifications for this role include:

    • College degree in finance, economics or business administration preferred
    • FINRA Series 66 and Series 7 required
    • Minimum of three years of experience in an administrative or client service role in the Wealth Management industry is required
    • Minimum of three years of experience in a client-facing role is required
    • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
    • Strong computer desktop skills are required: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
    • Experience fulfilling business operations tasks (e.g., bill paying – rent, 401(K), and other business expenses through Quick Books) highly desirable
    • Superior organizational skills
    • Strong experience in calendar management
    • Technology-forward and internet savvy; experience working with Nitrogen (aka Riskalyze) desirable but not required
    • Experience working within a fee-based advisory team or RIA
    • Ability to break down complex objectives into discrete steps
    • Ability to adapt
