Here’s just a bit of what you’d do:
As a customer service agent, your primary responsibility is to deliver outstanding service to our insurance policyholders. This is a dynamic role that will include a broad range of tasks including offering appropriate advice and guidance on personal, automobile, homeowners, umbrella, and other insurance products for our existing customers. You will utilize your problem-solving and analytical skills, expertise, and overall depth of insurance knowledge to enhance the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain ongoing customer relationships, process client policy changes, and payments.
· Contribute to sales and onboarding of new clients.
· Increase client retention through policy reviews and providing exceptional client communication.
· Develop best practices for client interactions and consistently pursue improvements around the overall client experience.
· Professionally and responsively address customer complaints and requests, escalating to leadership when necessary.
· Engage with customers to maximize value and create strategies to grow the client base.
Manage and understand various insurance programs, including contract review, captives, or claims made policies.
Be accountable for account and policy accuracy by ensuring that all customer information as well as items received by carriers are accurate and current including coverage schedules, policies, endorsements, and audits.
· Manage client portfolios.
· File and monitor client claims in a timely manner and address and resolve customer requests.
Perform research and initiate changes/corrections to customer’s policies according to established procedures and sound business judgment.
Engage in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and agency goals.
Demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new functions and other departments when the need arises.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills and the ability to apply these skills in either verbal or written form when interacting with various clients, company personnel and team members.
Must be able to handle a high volume of in-bound and out-bound calls within time standards while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Knowledge of property casualty coverages and the ability to apply that knowledge in the performance of the job duties.
High level of organizational ability; able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
Highly analytical and detail orientated with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate MS Office skills required. Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
· Confident self-starter with the ability to work both independently and contribute to team objectives.
· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to shift gears and multi-task.
· Action-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
· High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
3+ years’ Commercial or Property Casualty Insurance experience preferred.
Ability to work on-site in Franklin, WI during our hours of operation; 8:30 am-5:00 pm Mon-Fri.
Sales-related experience a plus.
WI Property and Casualty license preferred. If not currently licensed, must receive a license within 30 days of hire. Cost will be reimbursed after 120 days of active employment.

Salary range: $48,574 - $77,000 per year
