The position is for up to 37.5 hours per week, and the pay is $15-$17 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Depending on your needs, we offer employer-paid health and vision insurance. Responsibilities: • Be the first point of contact for everyone who interacts with the firm, whether via phone or in person • Collect information from potential clients who make initial contact with the firm and schedule initial consultations • Assist current clients who call or come into the office with questions or concerns • Schedule phone calls, client meetings, hearings, and home visits • Collect documentation and other important information from clients • Work with attorney and paralegal to help clients reach a resolution • Accept payments and enter payments into the practice management system Qualifications: • Passionate about helping children and families thrive • Empathetic and caring for people who are going through crises • Excellent listening skills • Ability to communicate via phone competently and confidently • Strong communication and people skills • Honesty, integrity, teamwork, desire for personal and professional growth • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work well with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff from other law firms • Strong organizational skills • Excellent knowledge of basic office programs, computer software and online applications and willingness to learn project and case management software • Experienced in a customer service setting Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
