    The Assistant Clinic Director is responsible for supporting the Clinic Director (CD) in the oversight of performance and operations of the clinic. This role supports the Clinic Director and clinic staff, assists with staffing needs, provides resource support, and performs administrative oversight.

    Tasks & Responsibilities

    Supervision and Consultation

    Participate in the weekly Clinic Director meeting for all personnel, facilitating this meeting as needed and instructed by CD

    Provide 1:1 consultation with all therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation, as needed

    Administrative

    Troubleshoot issues within Valant, ADP, Teams, Outlook, and billing

    Report to the office at least 4 business days per week (provide on-site clinician/office-related support)

    Flexible scheduling available, however, must align primarily with clinicians

    Support clinic staff development to ensure accurate use of Valant

    Partner with CD to support administrative changes as needed

    Coordinate with CD to support the hiring process, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding

    Clinic Oversight

    Assist CD with monitoring and managing clinic office schedules

    Assist CD with clinical quality assurance, as needed (monitoring weekly, identified clinic performance areas and assist CD with identifying opportunities to improve clinic functioning and quality of client care)

    Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders

    Maintain agreed upon clinical client caseload (15-20 clients per weekly minimum)

    Required Skills/Abilities

    Master’s Degree or higher education in a mental health, social work, and/or related discipline

    Independently licensed with one of the following credentials approved by NJ-related board (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)

    Approved supervisor in NJ preferred

    Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets

    Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures

    Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

    Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment

    Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications

    Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems
