Travel Clinic RN- North Dakota
American Consultants is looking for multiple travel Clinic RN's. These are Monday-Friday positions.
Position Overview:
A Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality nursing care in a clinical or outpatient setting. The RN collaborates with a healthcare team, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other staff, to deliver comprehensive care to patients. This role includes patient assessment, treatment, education, and coordination of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current health concerns.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with procedures, examinations, and follow-up care.
Coordination and Communication:
- Coordinate patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Manage patient flow and scheduling to ensure timely and efficient care delivery.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Accurately document patient care, treatment plans, and progress in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team promptly.
Clinical Support and Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinic environment.
- Perform routine quality checks on medical equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
- Licensure: Current, active RN license in the state of practice.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) may be required.
- Experience: Prior experience in a clinic or outpatient setting is preferred but not required.
