Medical Assistant training/certification is NOT required and Medical Scribe training is NOT required. We do our own training. A Bachelor's Degree from a reputable school is required, and some full-time work experience is also required.
Only native (or native-equivalent) Spanish speakers will be considered. Roughly half of the patients you interact with will be Spanish speakers. You will need to converse with Spanish-speakers on a daily basis, including translating for our physicians and discussing complex medical concepts in Spanish.
While we welcome applicants with plans to apply to medical school or other higher education, you must not be applying for a program that starts earlier than January 2027. Please note that this job will initially require several weeks of training at our Beverly Hills headquarters, after which it will be full-time at our Ontario location.
Job Type: Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week), on-site
Schedule: Monday through Friday, plus 1 Saturday per month as needed.
Start Date: February 17th or sooner
Starting Salary: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour

Job Description:
Perform clinical intakes in person and over the phone: discuss patients’ histories and complaints while taking detailed notes; present your patients to the doctor.
Document/scribe the provider's consultation with each patient—including careful notation of clinical findings, recommendations, and referrals—during each patient visit.
Follow through after each visit by entering recommendations, orders, and prescriptions into our system, and answering patients’ follow-up questions.
Coordinate closely with other medical offices, law firms, and patients/family members to ensure the best patient care possible.
Establish excellent relationships with patients and become their primary point of contact for questions about procedures, referrals, clearances, and other recommendations.
Work as a team with the other clinical assistants, front desk staff, and virtual support staff, covering for your team members when they are out or when they need an extra hand.
Other responsibilities as assigned by the Medical Director, Director of Operations, Lead Medical Scribe, and other senior staff.

Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (minimum 3.1 GPA) from a reputable school. Motivated applicants from any field of study are welcome.
At least 1 year of full-time work experience is required. Experience at a specialty medical practice is highly valued but not required.
