Dependable Nurses Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Coordinator for our Tucson, Arizona location. This role will be responsible for oversight of all the administrative functions which in turn support the clinical operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality care. Most of the patient population served is from the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD). As a result, prior experience working with the DDD is preferred for this role.

Job Duties / Responsibilities include:

• Manage the scheduling to ensure patient’s needs are met and covered for shift work with a match of a clinician who can meet those needs.
• work alongside the HR function to keep all required employee files up to date for compliance needs and onboard all new hires with the proper documentation.
• Manage the intake needs of the company for all new patient admits, including verifying insurance and authorization.
• Working with the DDD to match the needs of this population with available staff to build up the census and revenues.
• Communicate with patients and their families to assess their needs and provide appropriate support.
• Oversee the recruitment function to help the company continue to add clinical staff to meet the needs of the pediatric community for home health care needs.
• Ensure adherence to established company policies, procedures, and protocols.
• In collaboration with the Director of nursing, hire, train, and ensure ongoing education for all clinical staff. Be on call to manage after hours scheduling needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 3 years previous experience in management in the health care field.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Familiar with state, federal and local regulations governing home health services.

Familiar with the DDD rules and regulations since this is where most of the patients we serve come from.
