Apex Family Healthcare Services is looking to add a Fully Georgia Licensed Clinical Director to our dynamic team of clinical professionals at AFHS. We desire a seasoned clinical professional who is proficient at DSM-IV and has the ability to serve as a coach, mentor, and trainer to staff who are currently seeking supervision for licensure. We are seeking a professional who embraces our mission and vision which shows how we manage with care and value our staff and clients treating them each with dignity and respect with verbal and written communication. The candidate we select will be able to balance Managing a team of professionals with various clinical degrees and experiences while understanding, implementing and enforcing policy from the federal level to the agency level. We are excited to add a Clinical Director who is a team player, who can multi-task effectively and efficiently, understands the importance of time management and tracking, and able to utilize reports to drive service delivery and staff performance. Lastly, we welcome a Clinical Director who has very intense critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to forecast based on data.
Hybrid: On-site/Remote Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Clinical Director reports directly to the Executive Director but has direct responsibility for the following:
Supervision of all Clinical Staff (individual and group)
Staff Trainings (individual and group)
Performance Measurement Reports
Clinical Performance of all Clinical Staff (Therapist, Para-professionals, Clinical Department Managers)
Auditing of all Clinical Departments for on-going compliance
Payor Clinical / Program Audits
Clinical Director will provide on-going leadership, mentoring, training and auditing to the following management supportive staff / department heads to ensure each department meets/exceed program expectations:
Intake
Assessments
Clinical Service Authorizations
Discharge
Substance Abuse
Nursing Health and Wellness
Clinical Documentation Reviewers
Education:
Full GA Clinical Licensure (LPC or LCSW)
Masters in a helping profession
Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor credentials to provide supervision for licensure to provisionally licensed staff.
2 Years Experience as Clinical Director
Experience with various therapeutic clinical techniques
Ability to learn, master and train others on clinical service assessments / evaluations, service plans, discharges, authorizations, GAMMIS forms, safety plans, CANA/ANSA, CSSR's, Substance Abuse Assessments, review IEP results and Psychological Reports, Audit of Hard and Electronic Records, etc.
Exp. with Medicaid CORE, paneled already with GA payors, and clinical chart auditing are a plus
