    Qualifications: Completion of master’s degree in the human services field and current status as a resident in Counseling or Social Work is required. Compliance with the appropriate regulatory board to maintain license eligible status is required. Knowledge of regulatory requirements for community mental health services is preferred. A valid Virginia Drivers License is also required for employment.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Full-time position in office/direct supervision

    · Provide clinical oversight for cases and counselors being supervised

    · Read and review clinical documentation and progress notes daily to ensure highest standards based on DBHDS

    · Supervise licensed eligible and licensed Clinician staff on caseloads and managing their team

    · Complete and/or review clinical assessments for all programs, including formulating diagnoses for youth and adults with emotional and behavioral disturbances

    · Serves as a compliance coordinator among administrative and ownership team

    · Coordinates regularly with ownership team regarding quality assurance and compliance measures

    · Maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) and the Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS)

    · Acts as the agency liaison to DBHDS Licensing specialist

    · Performs regular compliance audits to ensure quality reviews of clinical, personnel and supervisory records

    · Responsible for holding clinical supervisors accountable for any and all paperwork ensuring that it’s turned in on time and its clinical content meets the standards.

    · Reviews agency reports and provides feedback to staff for quality improvement

    · Completes and/or approves Individualized Service Plans and Re-assessments for all agency clients being supervised

    · Provides documentation and clinical training to agency staff

    · Completes intake assessments for Crisis within 24hrs and MHSB, IIH, IOP within 72 hrs. of seeing client to determine eligibility for services and provides input to admission team regarding treatment needs

    · Attend and assist in the planning of staff meetings and trainings

    · 24-hour availability to respond to crisis situations for participants in all programs
