    Job Description

    The Manager, AMI Clinical Engagement will play an integral role in deploying AMI training strategies, with main responsibilities that include the facilitation of on-site HCP educational engagement programs and partnering with clinical leadership and/or Medical Supervisor(s) to maintain clinical policies and procedures at the Irvine AMI training center. As a necessary part of job training, the Manager, AMI Clinical Engagement will also participate in on-going clinical training which includes participation in anatomy labs and performing on-label facial injections, as well as other procedures, under the direction of a Medical Supervisor.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Implementing the strategy set forth by AMI leadership to enhance training activities and protocols for facial injectable customers attending on-site AMI educational engagement programs.
    • Delivering presentations and hands-on training during facial injectable training programs.
    • Traveling to facilitate field-based clinical HCP educational engagement training programs.
    • Working closely with AMI Clinical Engagement leadership and Medical Supervisor(s) to monitor and report ongoing clinical activities within the Irvine AMI Training Centers.
    • Collaborating with the AMI Curricula team by providing feedback on clinical training programs aimed to expand reach, increase effectiveness, and further strengthen AMI brand sentiment.
    • Performing training injections for the purpose of on-going job-related clinical training, which includes, but is not limited to, conducting the informed consent process, assessing, planning, implementing, and monitoring individual patient care as needed (may include responding to off-hour patient calls).
    • Participating in anatomy labs for the purpose of ongoing job-related clinical training.
    • Partnering closely with Environmental Health, and Safety, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to ensure that all guidelines, regulations, and standards are met.
    • Promote a safety-conscious work environment and maintain good housekeeping practices.
    • Assist with the development of clinical content for the ongoing optimization of training curricula.
    • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree is required.
    • Current, unencumbered NP/PA/RN license, with a strong preference for licensure within CA, GA, TX.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience with facial injectables is required.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a clinical education role is preferred.
    • Ability to deliver educational presentations, during both small and large group trainings, to customers, peers, and prospects, with measurable results.
    • Possess a strong work ethic and integrity.
    • Possess strong analytical, organizational, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
    • Demonstrated ability to be a prompt decision maker with strong problem-solving skills, while maintaining a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
    • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge of FDA and regulatory statutes as applied to the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio of products, with the ability to function in an environment controlled by outside regulatory entities.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Ability to travel up to 20%. Evenings, overnight, weekends, domestic travel may be required.
    • Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and all other international regulatory requirements with which Allergan Aesthetics complies.
