    Job Description

    We are seeking two highly skilled Clinical Informatics Analysts to join our dynamic team in Virginia Beach, United States. As a Clinical Informatics Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between healthcare operations and information technology, leveraging data to improve patient care and organizational efficiency.

    • Analyze clinical data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in patient care and operational processes
    • Collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and leadership to develop and implement data-driven solutions that enhance healthcare delivery
    • Design and generate reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support decision-making across the organization
    • Evaluate and optimize the use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and other healthcare IT applications
    • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical decision support tools and quality improvement initiatives
    • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA
    • Provide training and support to clinical staff on the use of healthcare information systems
    • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in clinical informatics and healthcare IT
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Nursing Informatics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
    • 3-5 years of experience in clinical informatics or a related healthcare IT role
    • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and healthcare IT workflows
    • Strong skills in data analysis and visualization using tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
    • Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R)
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
    • Solid understanding of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT)
    • Knowledge of healthcare quality measures and reporting requirements
    • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, particularly HIPAA
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
    • Relevant certifications such as CPHI or CAHIMS are a plus
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
