Ellie Mental Health provides internships for master's level clinical interns from the fields of Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Counseling. Clinical interns work under the direct supervision of a qualified site supervisor. All services provided by the Intern will be reviewed by the supervisor including written work (i.e. assessments, treatment plans and progress notes) and interactions with clients. The student intern will engage in a variety of clinical and non-clinical activities related to their specific discipline and consistent with their individual learning requirements from their program.

Required Skills and Abilities:
Education: must be pursuing a master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, with eventual license of LPCC, LICSW or LMFT.
Clinical knowledge, skills and abilities.
Adaptability to evolving best practices and compliance/credentialing standards (ex. Insurance or DHS requirements).
Maintains strict confidentiality handling client information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and Ellie policies.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide individual, couples, family and/or group therapy in outpatient clinic setting
Facilitate diagnostic assessments, create/ implement treatment plans, complete clinical documentation (progress notes, discharge summaries, etc.).
Participate in shadowing of therapy sessions and Diagnostic Assessments.
Provide 10 client billable hours per week
Attend two hours of clinic consultation meetings per month.
Meet with Internship supervisor weekly for Ellie supervision.
Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings.
Remain in good standing in your graduate program’s expectations and standards.
Maintain active enrollment in your internship’s supervision course.
