This position requires a minimum of four years of clinical experience and a passion for providing outpatient care and working with clients as well as leading. This position does not require you to choose! We operate at the highest ethical standards and with integrity. We hire licensed therapists to join our team of therapists who love working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families. Our supervisors provide care to patients themselves. In addition to caseload, supervisors also review charts, notes, and support by providing weekly supervision and signing off associate hours. Must complete supervision CEUs and maintain this per the BBS of CA guidelines. Our clinical leaders oversee the entire clinical team onsite including licensed team members and work in collaboration with our Director of Clinical Leadership and clinical leaders in other locations for support. We provide outpatient counseling services at a group private practice and our team are employees. We are full service and provide all referrals, intake staff, billing support team, and marketing are provided. Our clinicians focus on the great quality of care and have minimal documentation. This position is Salaried with 40 hours per week. This is a critical leadership role in our organization. One year minimum commitment at the start due to lengthy credentialing and start-up costs as well as patient care reasons, but ideally long-term fit. Must be licensed in CA. Responsibilities: • Supervise up to 6 associates in outpatient counseling in San Diego, CA, providing guidance and support for their clients' care. • Conduct weekly reviews of associate cases and notes. • Uphold office policies and procedures as a Clinical Manager. • Carry a caseload of clients for in-office and Telehealth sessions, ensuring excellent clinical care. • Electronically document sessions and supervision using practice software. • Manage billing and scheduling for active patients within the software system. • Maintain a professional license and Clinical Supervision CEUs at all times. • Hold Professional Liability insurance for direct care and supervision. • Foster a positive and supportive growth relationship with associates. • Adhere to BBS law and ethics standards for supervisors. • Complete required CEUs before starting supervision. • Carry liability insurance for direct care and supervision. • Have a passion for teaching young therapists. • Be motivated to see clients while fulfilling supervisory duties. Qualifications: • A minimum of two years post-licensure in California is required for supervising associates in a counseling setting. • Must have experience working with couples and families. • Preferably experienced in working with military populations. • Should have at least 2+ years of clinical supervisory experience post-licensure. • Positive and supportive attitude is a must. • Demonstrates a growth mindset. • Desire to maintain own caseload and work with clients. • Seeking a long-term position within a supportive team environment. • Collaborates effectively with other leaders and supervisors within the organization.
