Our center in Lomita, CA, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our team of BCBAs.
Job Summary:
The Clinical Manager, BCBA, is responsible for the clinical oversight and management of our ABA center in Lomita, CA. This leadership position focuses on ensuring the delivery of exceptional ABA services through the supervision, training, and support of our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This role does not involve direct client caseload management. The Clinical Manager will be instrumental in maintaining clinical excellence, fostering a positive work environment, and driving the center's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Leadership and Supervision:
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to BCBAs, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and best practices in ABA.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to BCBAs.
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and funding source requirements.
- Conduct regular clinical meetings and case reviews.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Team Management and Development:
- Recruit, hire, and onboard qualified BCBAs.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of BCBAs.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Manage team schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Address and resolve team conflicts and issues.
- Quality Assurance and Improvement:
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ABA programs and interventions.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Conduct regular audits of client records and treatment plans.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in ABA.
- Ensure all staff are following company policies, and best practices.
- Administrative and Operational Support:
- Collaborate with the center director on operational and administrative tasks.
- Participate in strategic planning and development of center goals.
- Maintain effective communication with families, funding sources, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings with funding sources and other involved parties as needed.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all BACB guidelines.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all state and federal laws related to ABA therapy.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification1 in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing ABA services.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supervising BCBAs.
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.2
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of3 funding sources and billing practices.
- Must pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Experience in a leadership or management role within an ABA center.
- Knowledge of California specific regulations related to ABA.
