HCT seeks an experienced nursing leader to serve as a Clinical Nurse Educator for Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU), at a 350 bed hospital in California.

The Clinical Nurse Educator's responsibilities include:

• planning, developing, implementing, teaching, and evaluating training programs for a variety of clinical staff with the goal of improving care and advancing patient care practices, and
• serving as a leader, role model, and consultant for educational practices and patient care delivery.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (BSN) required; (MSN preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of direct, clinical experience in Pediatric Intensive Care/Pediatrics combined with experience as a clinical educator; strong communication skills; effective interpersonal skills;
• License: Current CA RN license required
• Certifications: ACLS,PALS, BLS required
• Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred
