What is the perfect position for you at this stage of your career?
Are you looking for a positive and healthy work culture that both nourishes you in the present and inspires you for the future?
Perhaps, you are looking for the collegiality and feeling of connectivity that comes from an in-person office setting with the flexibility of telehealth?
Or, maybe your priority is a group practice with an excellent reputation that lives by the highest ethical standards and is truly committed to healing?
You might value having complete administrative support along with a consistent referral base.
The perfect blend of both the advantages of a private practice and group practice employment.
And, we all want a generous compensation plan better than what many other group practices have to offer.
Orange County Health Psychologists has all this to offer and more. We’re a thriving group practice of 40 dedicated clinicians with offices in Irvine, Newport Beach, Orange, and San Francisco. We recently expanded our beautiful main Irvine office facility near the Irvine Spectrum.
Our approach is holistic, using integrated interventions that focus on mind, body and spiritual health and wellness. Our vision as innovative trail blazers in providing a new model of integrated health care has led to the development of clinical heath psychology specialties and contracts with three large managed health care systems in Orange County.
We strive to provide our patients with the best clinicians Orange County has to offer. Our mission and values are reflected in our hiring practices and employment policies. If you’re one of the best and equally committed to excellence in patient care, we’d love to meet you.
Our compensation plan is more generous than most with fees of $88-$145 per session. Full-time is defined as a minimum of 25 patient sessions per week with estimated compensation at $125,000 -$135,000 depending on insurance payor mix. For those clinicians who are comfortable seeing more than 25 patients per week, income would be higher but we encourage optimum work-life balance. We offer opportunities for future leadership roles and supporting our providers’ growth and development. Full-time employees are eligible for medical and dental benefits plus incentives.
Requirements and Qualifications:

Preference given to candidates with relevant experience in a health care setting or completion of a health psychology track in a doctoral program
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience (including pre-doctoral internships)
Commitment to see a minimum of 15 patients per week and with no other private practice commitments
Flexibility with a hybrid delivery model requiring at least one day in the office; either seeing patients via telehealth or in-person. Additional days in the office are welcomed.
Passion for excellence in patient care using evidence-based interventions

Additional opportunities exist for a fully paid fellowship in a specific area of health such as psycho-oncology, psycho-gastroenterology, women’s sexual health, gero-psychology, or pediatric psychology to acquire the skills and competencies in one of these important specialties.
We offer meaningful opportunities for psychologists who understand today’s relevance of collaborative, integrated care and practicing from a health and wellness model and not a disease model. Interested candidates, please submit a cover letter and CV addressed to Kristin Kleppe, PsyD.
