EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing or life sciences.
3+ years’ work experience for a pharmaceutical company or related field
Experience as an ophthalmic technician preferred but not required.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient understanding of marketing and statistics.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
Ability to work independently and prioritize duties.
Understanding of electronic data capture.
Strong organization with attention to detail.
Analytical problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and outlines trial protocols.
Develops and maintains site certification for ongoing studies.
Trains clinical research staff on protocol requirements, proper source documentation, and case report form completion.
Works with the physicians on ethics regarding rights, safety, and well-being of trial subjects.
Develops protocols to protect subjects’ confidentiality.
Manages all trial materials.
