    We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to support the startup and on-going operations of the clinic. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring therapist performance and supervising junior staff of approximately 5-10 professional outpatient therapists. This includes managing clinician performance, monitoring client satisfaction, and providing training support. The Clinical Supervisor will also maintain a reasonable client caseload.

    Reporting & Supervision

    Clinic Supervisor reports directly to the Clinic Director

    All pre-licensed therapists report to the Clinic Supervisor

    Responsibilities include:

    Training and Staff Management

    Provide training for clinic new hires

    Assess and conduct ongoing development and training needs

    Manage staff performance, including implementing Performance Coaching, Performance Improvement Plans

    Supervision and Consultation

    Oversee peer consultation groups to ensure clinical excellence and align with best practices

    Provide clinical oversight to clinic’s Mental Health Practitioners and Professionals, including signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers

    Provide 1:1 consultation with therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation

    Client Care

    Maintain an approximate caseload of 15-20 client sessions per week.

    Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.

    Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.

    Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.

    Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders.

    Identify opportunities to improve client care, quality, effectiveness.

    Clinic Operations

    Monitor and manage clinic office schedules and office supplies.

    Implement all required policies and procedures.

    Ensure all required Ellie Mental Health clinical and operational policies and procedures are taught and followed.

    Clinic Outreach, Marketing, and Networking

    Participate in clinic’s community outreach and engagement efforts.

    Required Skills/Abilities

    Master’s Degree or higher education in mental health discipline.

    Independently licensed with a Virginia-issued clinical practice license in Social Work (LCSW).

    Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

    Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment.

    Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.

    Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems.

    Compensation

    Annual range $75,000 - $95,000
