    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high standards of care, and providing mentorship to our clinical staff. This position requires a strong background in behavioral health and the ability to manage complex patient cases effectively. The Clinical Supervisor will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and promote best practices in treatment. The position entails providing therapy sessions to patients, supervising interns and pre-licensed therapists, mentoring licensed therapists and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure compliance with best practices and ethical care. The Clinical Supervisor's caseload size should enable them to play an active role in planning, coordinating, monitoring, training and mentoring the clinical team. The Clinical Supervisor will provide input to the Clinical Director regarding therapists’ performance, program enhancement, caseloads, training needs and policies and procedures.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    This position acts as a Team Lead to the Outpatient Therapists and provides clinical supervision to clinical therapists, pre-licensed therapists, and clinical interns. Duties/Responsibilities: • Conduct individual therapy sessions and provide mental health consultation • Provides clinical supervision to clinical supervisees and interns; establishes and approves supervision plans; reviews and approves clinical documentation • In conjunction with the Clinical Director, effectively provide clinical supervision for a team of mental health practitioners providing guidance and direction, onboarding, case consultation, and performance management; ensures delivery of evidence based practices • Assist with program development for the delivery of clinical mental health services. • Develops and provides ongoing training opportunities for outpatient staff • Provide coaching and mentorship to outpatient team to encourage professional and personal growth. • Manage new client intake workflow and wait list. Manages caseloads, capacity and accessibility of services. • Monitor written documentation of client care to ensure accurate records, compliance with best practices and legal requirements, and timely billing. • Provide input to Clinical Director on performance evaluations for assigned staff, including goal setting, professional development, performance improvement, and assessment of training needs. • Work with Clinical Director and a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate and provide mental health training and consultation for staff around mental health topics including de-escalation, crisis intervention, mental health first aid, suicidal ideation, etc. as well as required trainings to maintain the CCBHC licensure. • Review and approve clinical charting in a timely manner, including progress notes, diagnostic assessments, functional assessments, and individualized treatment plans. • Be available for questions and consultation as needed by the supervisee

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • In-depth knowledge of current evidence-based practices in mental health treatment. • Ability to successfully collaborate across inter-agency teams. • Ability to work independently, use time effectively, and work under stress. • Ability to effectively lead a team and manage multiple priorities. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound clinical judgments. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Clinical experience with children, teens, adults and/or families with mental health concerns (Anxiety, depression, sports related issues, trauma, emotion regulation / stress management, SPMI, SED). • High level of clinical knowledge for understanding what patients with depression, anxiety, addiction, bipolar, schizophrenia, or other disorders need from their treatment. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to make independent decisions within the scope of professional practice. • Excellent time management, impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse ethnic, economic, racial and cultural backgrounds. Education and Experience: • Licensed as LMFT, LICSW or LPCC in State of MN. • MN Board approved mental health supervisor, or ability to attain within 12 months. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical mental health services. • Two years of clinical supervisory experience preferred.
