The Medical Receptionist job duties include but are not limited to:
Increase patient volume
Excellent patient service
Register patients
Verify insurances
Answer phones
Requirements for the Medical Receptionist position include:
Have at least one (1) year of verifiable, clinical work experience in an Emergency Department, Hospital, or Urgent Care environment as a Medical Receptionist, Medical Front Desk, or Patient Access Representative.
Ability to pass our internal clinical assessment.
Able to work a flexible schedule to include 8-13 hour shifts (both are available!) plus 1-2 on-call shifts (which come with a $50 shift bonus!)
Some weekend shifts are required as we are open 7 days a week for our patients
Required to travel to different locations within an hour radius for coverage in times of critical business demands or staffing needs (with bonus)
Required to have a valid driver's license
Must provide proof of reliable transportation
Able to sit, walk, reach with hands and arms throughout the workday.
Finger dexterity and hand coordination required.
Occasionally required to lift moderate weight (20-40 pounds)
Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust or focus.
