Position Description:
Responsible for designing, maintaining, and deploying artificial intelligence (AI) / machine learning (ML) solutions on cloud-based systems. Develop and monitor system performance, define metrics, identify and proactively resolve issues.
Duties :
- Advise the project manager and software development team on costs related to the use of cloud storage, compute, and transit options available
- Implement the technical roadmap based on the decisions from the project manager, engineering, and development teams
- Use best and latest cutting-edge practices for maintaining AI/ML software packages on cloud systems
- Enable the effective deployment of off-the-shelf technologies with enhancements to meet each unique client need
- Ensure data processing, storage, and retrieval operations are effectively implemented and in accordance with client security guidelines
- Identify and make recommendations to close or avoid software or infrastructure technical security issues
Skills :
- 3+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms on both private and public clouds
- Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected framework
- Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject-matter experts
- Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC
- AWS certification
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or mathematics
- Pursuant to Executive Order 12968, August 2, 1995, this position requires U.S. citizenship
- Current U.S. government top secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and counterintelligence scope polygraph
Ideal candidate will have experience in the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
