Cloud Equity Group ("CEG") is seeking to hire Private Equity Analyst interns to join the investment team for the Summer of 2023. Based in New York City, Cloud Equity Group has over 20 years of successful principal investing experience, having successfully managed multiple funds through economic cycles. Compelling Summer Analyst Interns may be invited to join the team as a full-time Analyst following graduation. About Cloud Equity Group Cloud Equity Group makes both control equity and debt investments in growing, lower-middle market companies within Tech/Media/Telecom (TMT). During the multi-year relationship Cloud Equity Group has with companies as an investor, we seek to be a value-added partner to portfolio company management teams by leveraging the expertise and resources from the Cloud Equity Group team and the boarder CEG relationship network to support and enhance operating performance. Key Responsibilities Cloud Equity Group Analysts are actively involved in all aspects of the investment process from investment thesis formation to investment structuring and closing, to portfolio monitoring and support, through exit. Day-to-day responsibilities can include: * Conducting due diligence on live investment opportunities * Working with financial models, analyzing scenarios with different capital structures and operating performance and acquisition assumptions * Developing presentation materials summarizing investment perspectives for investment committee review or approval * Assisting with portfolio company performance monitoring and financing activities * Supporting execution of strategic initiatives alongside portfolio company management teams In CEG's consensus-driven culture, all team members - including Analysts - are asked to share their perspectives on new investments with the entire Cloud Equity Group team. They also have the opportunity to interact with management teams at portfolio companies. Qualifications Cloud Equity Group seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
