We seek a Senior and Expert Level Cloud Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing cloud environments, containerization platforms, and virtualization technologies. The candidate will work with cutting-edge tools, including Azure, OpenShift, GitHub, and various security and networking platforms. The role will also require deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, scripting, and cloud security. Responsibilities:

Administer and optimize cloud environments, particularly on Microsoft Azure platforms.

Manage containerization technologies like Azure Red Hat OpenShift and other container platforms.

Implement, configure, and manage Content Distribution Networks (CDN) like Cloudflare.

Administer virtualization platforms like Nutanix to ensure efficient resource utilization.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate cloud provisioning.

Work within Agile teams, contributing to sprints, planning, and delivery.

Support DevSecOps practices to enhance the security and scalability of cloud environments.

Administered and configured Red Hat Linux and Microsoft Server environments, ensuring operational efficiency.

Work with version control tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions to manage software versions and deploy infrastructure changes.

Develop scripts or object-oriented code in Java, Python, or .NET to automate processes and improve system integrations.

Collaborate with teams to ensure the successful deployment of services in the cloud, adhering to best practices for security, scalability, and performance.

Utilize security and monitoring tools such as Palo Alto Firewalls, PrismaCloud, NGINX, and Microsoft Sentinel to ensure the integrity and safety of the cloud infrastructure.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple systems and platforms.

Participate in the development of security policies and best practices for the organization.

Provide mentorship and leadership to junior engineers and assist with their career development.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure and its associated services.

Experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift or other containerization platforms.

In-depth knowledge of Content Distribution Networks (CDNs), specifically Cloudflare or similar platforms.

Experience with Nutanix or other virtualization platforms for managing virtualized resources.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps principles, including tools like Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub Actions.

Solid experience with Agile development and deployment processes.

Experience administering Red Hat Linux and Microsoft server environments.

Understanding of object-oriented programming (Java, Python, .NET) or scripting (Bash, PowerShell).

Proven experience in cloud administration, specifically within the Microsoft Azure environment.

Industry-recognized certifications in cloud, security, or server management, such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or similar.

Experience working in government and/or healthcare sectors, with exposure to marketing, public relations, or public affairs.

ITIL foundations certification or similar IT service management certification.

Salary Range: Senior Role - Experience - 4+ years - $120,000 to $170,000 Expert Role -Experience - 6+ years - $150,000 to $200,000
