    Job Description

    We are currently accepting applications from individuals with experience working in customer service, customer relations, and customer support to work as part of our team. Customer Service Representatives will receive training to ensure they have all the skills and knowledge that they require to be successful in this high energy industry. We are seeking candidates that are outgoing, personable & comfortable working in a team environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and professional development.

    Team based training sessions ensure that each person in our company can learn from our top representatives. We promote growth from within and encourage our team to work together to reach client & customer goals and improve skills. Specialized training will prepare individuals to work with customers to provide a unique and pleasant sales experience, which fosters acquisition of quality customers and long-term customer loyalty.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1.  Sales Support to execute on all aspects of the customer relationship from order placement to delivery in conjunction with our internal departments, external partners, broker representatives, and sales teams. Tasks include entering, auditing & approving all incoming Foodservice channel orders via email, EDI, phone, or text; answering phone calls and responding to foodservice channel emails, return correspondence, and informational communications. Assist processing paperwork which may include printing, scanning, copying, and analysis.
    2. Resolve customer inquiries by clarifying the customer’s request; determine the cause of the problem; select and explain the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution, using the right methods and tools for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and validity.
    3. Build and maintain working knowledge of Foodservice products, channel demands and expectations, distributor processes and specificities, providing product information and making recommendations based on customer needs. Act as the primary liaison and provide support for strategic partnerships, brokerage partnerships, and cross-functional department projects.
    4. Maintain and update information databases with which include but are not limited to customer, distributor, and vendor setups, communication preferences, inventory and lead time parameters, order minimums, contacts, forms and documentation, delivery information, etc.
    5. Ensure policies and procedures are followed in a timely and accurate manner to support achievement of key departmental and corporate goals.
    6. Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools.
    7. Demonstrate a culture of integrity and teamwork in pursuit of common goals.
    8. Maintain SOPs for training purposes.
    9. Actively participate in team meetings and provide relevant feedback to supervisor.
    10. Other Duties as assigned.

     

    SKILLS, BEHAVIOR, AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

    • Consultative customer service skills: ability to analyze a customer’s situation and present a solution.
    • Highly driven and hungry individual with high levels of personal responsibility and accountability.

    • Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced & highly stressful environment while identifying patterns and applying concepts to new situations.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
    • Ability to navigate between several computer screens (e.g., CRM Software, ACD System, Email and Web Browser) while actively listening and entering customer information.
    • Highschool Diploma/GED, preference will be given to individuals with an associate degree in a business-related field

     

    HOURS OF OPERATION:

    We provide support Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm CDT with limited but possible hours on nights, weekends, and holidays. However, flexible scheduling is available upon approval. Customer service representatives may work remotely as needed with equipment supplied provided the required minimum internet service is validated.
