Job Description

Clow Valve has an immediate opening at our Metal Casting Facility for a Forklift Operator.

1st Shift Position

Starting Wage: $24.42

Health Insurance Available after 60 days

$500 sign on Bonus

_ RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:_

• Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork.
• Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people, objects, and other forklift traffic.
• Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
• Transfer to designated location throughout the facility by complying with all safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

_ QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:_

•Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.

•Frequent pushing, pulling, reaching & twisting of certain weights required.

•Standing & walking greater than 2 hours per day.

•Sitting greater than 7 hours per day.

•Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left, kneel, squat, & climb using arms and legs.

•Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp, exert force, wear gloves, write & utilize tools.•Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions.

•Ability to work with solvents & chemicals, operate a crane, truck, forklift & other moving vehicles.

•Manufacturing experience & working around machinery considered.

•PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including but not limited to earplugs, safety glasses, metatarsal & guarded boots are required
