    Job Description

    Clow has an opening for a Maintenance Mechanic C at the Machine Shop

    2nd Shift : Monday - Thursday 3pm-1am

    Health Insurance Available after 60 days

    Starting Rate of Pay: $27.09

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Repairing, maintaining, installing, lubricating, troubleshooting and adjusting machines and equipment.
    • Performing routine inspection on production equipment.
    • Perform routine lubrication and cleaning of production equipment.
    • Perform minor repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment and machines.
    • Use of common hardware including: bolts, pipe fittings, etc.
    • Preventative maintenance of production equipment and machinery.
    • Operate fork trucks, lifts, and conveyors.
    • Welding and minor fabrications.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications include but are not limited to:

    • Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
    • Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, reaching & twisting up to 90 times per hour.
    • Standing & walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
    • Ability to move neck forward/back & turn right/left, kneel, squat, & climb using arms and legs.
    • Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp, flex, extend, exert force, wear gloves, & utilize tools.
    • Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions inside & outside including but not limited to working on slippery, uneven, unstable surfaces.
    • Ability to work with hands in water, around machinery, at unprotected heights, with dust & fumes & operate a crane, truck, forklift & other moving vehicles.
    • Applicant must have 2-4 years verifiable maintenance mechanic experience, preferably in an industrial/ manufacturing setting.
    • Tech degree is a strong plus. Ability to wear applicable PPE including: safety glasses, metatarsal guarded boots, hearing protection, respirators, welding mask, etc.
    • Ability to recognize and utilize all basic and portable power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
