Job Description

_ Purpose:_

The MCF Tooling Engineer is to enhance the production of world class waterworks products by working as part of a cohesive team that supports and implements improvements to current tooling processes. This position will work closely with the foundry tooling engineer to troubleshoot daily production issues and develop new tooling and processes.

****_Core Functions:_

• Assist with current pattern corrections and production issues to reduce scrap product.
• Assist with planning for current pattern/core tooling.
• Troubleshoot common tooling issues and understand tooling requirements for each product.
• Develop a schedule for new tooling and work on pattern development.

Qualifications

_ Education & Experience:_

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering or Machining.
• Knowledge MS Office program packages, foundry processes as well as tooling operation and manufacturing
