OPEN ROLE & SCHEDULE
The KidStrong Coach will focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from the evolving monthly curriculum
The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind KidStrong curriculum.
Our classes run weekdays 9 am-11:30 am and evenings until 7 pm.*
On weekends we start at 9 am and run through lunch time.
There is an opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on the center's needs.
There is an opportunity to increase scheduled hours through birthday parties, camp, and parents' night out coaching hours.
This is a year-round position; candidates with summer-only availability will be considered.
*Schedule is subject to change at any time based on member needs.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
If you are a loud extrovert who loves the spotlight, then this position is meant for you.
Minimum coaching availability required: two weekday evenings per week (3:30 pm - 7:30 pm) and one weekend day per week (8:30 am - 2:00 pm).
Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age range is preferred.
Prior experience speaking to and talking to parents.
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
Self-starter who gets a job done.
Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required.
