We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Soccer Shots Coaching Coordinator. In this role, you will oversee coaching operations, manage coach recruitment, training, and support, and ensure the smooth delivery of our programs for children aged 2-8. Responsibilities include scheduling, site management, conducting coach evaluations, and facilitating transitions to new locations. You will also support administrative and marketing initiatives, such as preseason logistics, marketing events, and team meetings, while assisting the director as needed.
Candidates must have experience working with preschool-aged children, strong time and classroom management skills, a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools. Previous managerial or teaching experience and familiarity with soccer are preferred. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for youth development.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching minimum 20 hours/week
Coach recruitment/hiring
Coach training and support
Communication/scheduling for all coaches through Sling
Observing coaching sessions, providing feedback, and assisting with professional development
Record Keeping
Organizing coach evaluations and background checks in shared files with assistant director and director
Site management
Assist coaches transitioning to new locations at the beginning of each season. Ensure they are introduced to directors, set up at new sites, and prepared for their first classes.
Administrative and Marketing Support
Preseason Logistics: Support preseason logistics and assist in delivering marketing materials.
Meetings: Attend team and departmental meetings to stay aligned with organizational goals.
Marketing Events: Participate in marketing events at partner locations to promote the Soccer Shots program during drop-off/pickup or open house events.
Assisting director as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children (ages 2-8)
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
