  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Working under supervising professional engineers, the candidate will support all Baird global offices by:
      • Participating in field data collection
      • Performing engineering analyses and design of coastal and marine structures
      • Assisting with the preparation of project deliverables including technical reports, calculations, cost estimates, specifications and drawings
      • Assisting with the construction administration tasks for projects currently being constructed

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Required:
      • Junior, Senior or Graduate student standing in an (ideally) ABET accredited engineering program
      • Specializing in water resources, coastal, civil, structural, geological or geotechnical engineering
    • Preferred:
      • Ability to continue working part-time hours into the fall of 2025
      • Previous intern experience with an engineering consulting firm
      • Working knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD
      • Experience with or willingness to learn GIS software
      • Experience with or willingness to learn programming with MATLAB and/or Python
