    Coastal Specialty Forest Products is a Family owned wholesale distributor of quality building products to an extensive dealer network throughout New England, Eastern NY and Long Island.

    Warehouse workers are an essential part of our company’s success. Workers assist with loading and unloading trucks, moving materials within the facility, pick complete and accurate orders and package materials for shipment. They safely operate forklifts and other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, sorting, and transporting products. Our company is currently seeking motivated, energetic individuals to join our growing team at Coastal Forest Products.

     

     

    Required Skills

    SKILLS : 

    • Verify accuracy and count of product on receiving documents
    • Stage and segregate product in designated areas
    • Break down product as necessary
    • Complete all necessary documentation of incoming freight
    • Report all discrepancies, damages, and other issues
    • Responsible for warehouse cleanliness
    • Pack and ship orders as needed
    • Maintain department productivity and accuracy goals
    • Participates in a safety culture that includes no recordable accidents and no loss time injuries. Always make the safe choice.
    • Participates actively in all safety programs and activities.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Experience

     

    REQUIREMENTS :

    • Must be eighteen years of age or older
    • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
    • Experience in warehouse setting preferred, but not required
    • Experience with forklift driving preferred, but not required
    • Must be dependable and on-time for shifts

     

    PHYSICAL CONDITIONS

    • Ability to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
    • Working outdoors in varying ambient temperatures
    • Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, and walking significant distances.
    • May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
    • Ability to work in Warehouse and outdoor environment, around related equipment
