Avanti F&B, a high volume food collective with multiples bars, is coming to Vail and looking for opening servers with great attitudes and a desire to provide excellent customer service. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a large section of up to 50 people in various patio and lounge areas throughout a shift. They must also maintain a professional demeanor, learn the beverage menu front to back, have a high level of salesmanship, and an intimate understanding of beer, cocktails, and wine. They must be a team player that can handle high volume for extended periods of time. We are looking for someone with high energy and drive that has the stamina to run full shifts with limited down time. Our servers are committed to providing a great guest experience while maintaining a cheerful and polite approach toward both guests and fellow employees. Responsibilities: • Has strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and beverage/food pairings. • Sell, sell, sell!!! • Maintains cleanliness in a large section. • Ability to handle cocktail-style service in a section of 50+ people. • Maintains cleanliness and organization of service and bus station(s). Refills water at both tables and service stations to assist the bussing team. • Experience working large-scale events. • Communicates and assists hosts to set up and breaking down tables as customer requests are received. • Removes dirty dishes, silverware, and any debris from tables throughout guest's time here and after customer leaves table. Returns dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware carefully to dishwashing and/or bar area. • Assists guests with inquiries or as needed. • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership. Qualifications: • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers Compensation: $11.40 hourly + tips
