    River Oaks Cocktail Server Job description The Cocktail Server position at Fielding’s River Oaks is a key element in creating a positive, memorable guest experience at the Bar. The position is responsible for serving food, cocktails and beer and wine in the bar area offering both the Bar Menu and Core menu.

    Essential Duties but not limited to:

     Work in a clean, fast manner with elegance in the bar area

     Be proficient at using the LAVU POS system to ring food & beverage

     Maintain a clean, orderly, stocked side station

     Be 100% knowledgeable about Fielding’s food and beverage and service standards

     Be nimble in high activity situations able to greet guests, serve, and sell food & beverages in a high paced environment while engaging with the guests at the bar area

    Competencies & Qualifications:

     Attend quarterly meetings to review operational performance and expectation expectations

     Must have current TABC and Certified Food Hand handler card/ certifications

     Have a true happy disposition

     Bi-lingual a plus

     Like highly fluid situations

     Be able to think on your feet quickly

     Demonstrate interest and share knowledge of food and beverage

     Able to lift and carry 25 pounds

     Able to follow directions and specifications

     Develop rapport with others to understand the full range of Fielding’s products and services

     Consistently search ways to improve and promote a high level of guest service

     Be open to constructive feedback

     Treat guests and Partners with respect

     Help provide a risk free and safe working environment and experience

     Apply accurate logic and common sense in decisions making or solving problems

     Seek expertise help and resources to achieve goals and objectives

     Stay focused and detailed oriented while on duty and work through distractions

     Able to identify, prioritize activities and modify work routines to eliminate wasted efforts

     Follow guidelines and rules of Fielding’s culinary group

     Speak clearly and logically to be understood and get the point across when communicating

     Ability to read and interpret documents, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manual
