  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As a Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by taking food and beverage orders, retrieving and serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest’s tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently.

    • Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation
    • Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving
    • Understand and anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day
    • Maintain positive guest relations at all times
    • Handle guest complaints following procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.

    • Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine and experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.

    • Must be of minimum 18 years of age.

    • Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.

    • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.

    • Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.

    • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding

    • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

    • Ability to maneuver in a restaurant setting
