    Job Overview: As a Cashier/Barista, you will play a dual role in our establishment. You will be responsible for managing transactions at the cash register and preparing a variety of beverages. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customer Service:
      • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
      • Answer questions about menu items, recommend products, and handle customer inquiries and complaints.
      • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
    • Barista Duties: * Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company recipes and standards. * Maintain knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation techniques and stay updated on new products and offerings. * Ensure that all beverages are prepared and presented to a high standard.
    • Cashier Duties: * Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and integrity. * Directing customers to the correct location based on the nature of their visit.
    • Operational Tasks: * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the cashier counter, beverage preparation area, and customer seating. * Stock supplies and ingredients as needed, and notify management of low inventory levels. * Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role is preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Basic math skills and experience with cash handling and POS systems.
    • A passion for coffee and beverages, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and products.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
    • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle various physical tasks.
