Objectives:
Assist in IDA’s efforts to develop a Collective Impact backbone organization and workgroups within designated states
Recruit and assist with training of Collective Impact workgroup members for designated Collective Impact state(s)
Assist BCEC and Home Office Staff on the Collective Impact work and trends
Assist in identifying trends, opportunities, challenges, and solutions within the Collective Impact workflows.
In partnership with Home Office and Collective Impact Coordinators, serve as a conduit of information between working groups and steering committee.
In partnership with Home Office, provide recommendations to Steering Committee on materials needed to carry out Collective Impact activities within the state.
Skills
Ability to communicate effectively between IDA Branch Council and National Board
Ability to create a project plan, manage people and processes to deadlines
Can contribute in one or more of these areas
Networking skills: People who can open doors to opportunities (in kind, schools, etc.)
Higher Education skills: Someone with a background in higher education
Marketing, public relations, advertising skills and/or connections
Building Community-based coalitions
Legislative policy and lobbying skills are a plus
Responsibilities:
Serve as the point person for Collective Impact within specific states
identify, recruit members to serve on the collective impact workgroups
identify documents, training materials, toolkits, etc needed to support Collective Impact
provide coaching support as needed to workgroup co-chairs-develop annual report summarizing collective impact work - goals, key milestones, challenges, next steps

Collective Impact workgroup co-chairs from the target states (via chair meetings, calls andemails)
workgroups as needed (via state workgroup meetings, calls, and emails)
IDA staff, Board and Collective Impact volunteers
Covered Expenses
Covered expenses align with the terms of the Contractor’s agreement with IDA.
Qualifications:
Collective Impact or coalition building experience (preferred)
Strong administration and project management skills
Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentation, etc.)
Data collection experience (collecting, synthesizing, tracking, and documenting)
Accreditation, policy, and/or community engagement leadership experience
Experience forming and leading teams
Estimated time commitment:
Up to 20 hours/month
This is a remote position.
