Consultants is a small and growing appraisal firm based out of Denver,
Colorado. We have an excellent reputation and provide a remote working

Opportunity We are looking for one or a small handful of trainees who
have completed their education for residential or general (commercial)
appraisal licensing and need experience hours to gain the license. We do
mostly commercial appraisals which means you will have the opportunity
to go straight to a Certified General License. We need someone who is
self-motivated, diligent, has excellent writing abilities, and most
importantly, can follow instructions. Again, we need someone who can
follow direct and specific instructions! Problem solving is also very
important. If you demonstrate your ability to perform at a high level,
you will have the opportunity to become a Senior Commercial Appraiser
for us when you gain the license. This is mostly a remote position
besides some property inspections. Responsibilities Developing and
preparing portions of the appraisal report such as: - Property
identification - Site factors such as location, access,
frontage/visibility, etc. - Building factors such as type of
construction, construction details, improvement analysis, etc. - Public
records research - Market research and analysis - Comparable
sales/rentals research and analysis Strong writing skills are a must.
You do not have to use top notch business acumen every word, but you do
have to be able to produce grammar and error free work consistently.
Being able to explain things simply and concisely is very important.
Knowledge of Word and Excel are also very important. Requirements
Completion or near completion of pre-licensing appraisal education. We
will not accept a candidate who is not fully or mostly complete with all
of their pre-licensing education. Demonstrating your ability to write is
a must. Please provide a resume and writing sample. If you don't have a
writing sample on hand, Google Denver real estate trends and provide a
brief summary of your findings. Or a similar topic. Basically just come
up with something that is well-written and is generally accurate. Please
do not spend more than a few hours on this (max). Experience in finance
or real estate is helpful. Compensation Competitive and flexible.
