The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist builds trusting relationships with internal leadership by understanding their service line workforce needs and works with hiring managers to develop and implement proactive, innovative sourcing strategies to fill employment opportunities.
This is an external- and internal-facing role with a focus on a deep understanding of Comagine Health’s lines of business, internal and external relationship building, passive candidate sourcing, building talent pipelines, screening and evaluating applicants and making compensation offers based on established guidelines.
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures a consistent and well-articulated recruiting brand for Comagine Health through the organization’s website, applicant tracking system, social media, job fairs, cultivating diverse community contacts and job postings.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING FOR US:
- Articulates a strong knowledge of Comagine Health’s mission, vision, values, history and service lines.
- Works closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop proactive, innovative sourcing/recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Develops and executes a proactive, innovative, cost-effective recruitment/sourcing strategy to target a diverse pool of qualified applicants for vacancies
- Provides detailed overviews of employment opportunities that includes typical duties and responsibilities, reporting and team relationships, and deliverables.
- Leverages hiring managers’ input when creating an effective sourcing strategy to identify and recruit top talent.
- Uses behavioral-based interview techniques to assess candidate competency and eliminates unqualified candidates from the hiring process as early as possible.
- Sets and fulfills service-level agreements with hiring managers; communicates the hiring process to candidates and provides timely status updates.
- Understands and makes compensation offers based on the organization’s formal compensation guidelines.
- Stays current with industry trends, economic conditions, and other variables that may motivate candidates to seek career opportunities elsewhere.
- Develops and maintains a network and database of potential candidates for future needs, including a pipeline of passive candidates.
- Develops strategic outreach plans and processes to ensure a diverse candidate pool, to include attending career fairs, and professional events to develop relationships that support Comagine Health’s brand and growth plan.
- Develops relationships with diverse organizations to include establishing individual relationships with contacts at minority, veteran, women, and disability focused organizations.
- Leverages all resources available through Comagine Health’s ATS to enhance candidate experience and drive candidates to apply for open roles with ease.
- Performs advanced sourcing utilizing social media, internet and data base mining.
- Possesses understanding of position and industry specific associations for posting specialized roles.
- Performs structured screening and assessment to ensure applicants meet both job and organization requirements prior to presenting candidates to hiring managers.
- Works closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop proactive, innovative sourcing/recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Implements Comagine Health brand confidence and retention practices in partnership with Director, Human Resources and Human Resources Business partner.
- Promotes Comagine Health’s employee referral bonus program.
- Enters and maintains current, accurate and consistent information in the applicant tracking system, including but not limited to job posting content, applicant tracking and response, anecdotal information and other required data.
- Provides reporting on current recruitment status by position to Director, Human Resources and hiring managers on a consistent basis.
- Maintains and reports talent pool metrics on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Tracks and achieves metrics, including but not limited to candidate presentations, interviews, and offers issued.
Required Skills
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS in a related field; equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted
- Certification in Recruitment or Human Resources required
- 5 years of senior talent acquisition level experience conducting effective sourcing / full cycle recruiting for a variety of leadership, management, clinical, professional, technical, and support positions.
- Agency recruiting/sourcing experience preferred.

- Proven ability to extract and present analytics from Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Manages “preferred vendor relationships” including monitoring hours worked by “contract employees” to affect complementary transition to Comagine Health employment, as needed.
- Strategic, dynamic, enthusiastic and quick to take initiative.

- Experience with and knowledge of sourcing effectiveness, screening, interviewing, selection and candidate assessment techniques.
- High-level experience using electronic media, social networking, internet research, candidate mining, and professional organizations to source candidates and build talent pipelines.
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands, and accept constructive feedback, while demonstrating adaptability and flexibility in approach.
