We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Commercial Ad Inventory & Commercial Placement Assistant (Radio Traffic) to support our sales and traffic teams in ensuring smooth commercial scheduling and order management.

    About this opportunity:

    The Commercial Ad Inventory & Commercial Placement Assistant plays a vital role in managing advertising inventory, ensuring accurate commercial scheduling, and supporting the sales and traffic departments with order entry and placement. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced media environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Order Entry & Management: Accurately enter and maintain client advertising orders in the traffic system, ensuring all details align with sales agreements.
    • Commercial Scheduling: Assist in scheduling and placing commercials within station logs to maximize inventory usage while meeting client expectations.
    • Inventory Coordination: Monitor available advertising inventory, flagging oversold or undersold spots to sales and traffic managers.
    • Log Reconciliation: Review daily logs to verify commercial placements and resolve discrepancies before airing.
    • Communication & Coordination: Work closely with sales, programming, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of commercial campaigns.
    • Makegoods & Adjustments: Process schedule changes, make goods, and adjustments as needed, maintaining accurate records.
    • Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure adherence to FCC regulations, internal policies, and client requirements regarding commercial placements.
    • Reporting & Documentation: Generate reports on inventory availability, campaign performance, and billing reconciliations.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Experience in radio traffic, media scheduling, ad operations, or related fields preferred.
    • Familiarity with traffic software such as WideOrbit, Marketron, or similar systems is a plus.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
    • Team player with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
