Responsibilities: • Construct frameworks and structures following blueprints, drawings, and sketches accurately. • Renovate office and warehouse spaces with innovative new designs. • Ensure the establishment and completion of building foundations meet required standards. • Expertly install doors, windows, drywall, and flooring in commercial properties. • Uphold health and safety compliance diligently while working independently. Qualifications: • The ideal candidate for this Commercial Carpenter position in Pittsburgh, PA, USA, should possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial construction and remodeling projects. • A thorough understanding of basic mathematical principles is a prerequisite for this role. • Ability to operate hand and power tools, perform tasks at heights using ladders or scaffolding, and lift items weighing more than 50 lbs is crucial. • Proficient in driving and handling commercial vehicles like dump trucks, forklifts, and skid loaders is essential. • Skilled in using electrical and manual tools and proficient with measurement instruments such as powered saws, hammers, and rulers. • Previous experience in welding would provide a valuable advantage in fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.
