Monson Savings Bank is currently seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst responsible for the assessment of complex financial statements and accountable to perform all monitoring including covenant testing, financial trending, and industry performance. Performs due diligence and credit analysis of current and prospective clients.
This non-exempt, full-time position works within the Commercial Lending Department located at our Loan & Operations Center, 75 Post Office Park, Wilbraham, MA.
Some of the position responsibilities include:
Education/Experience : Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in credit analysis, loan underwriting and documentation and/or credit review functions or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications/Skills: Position requires a customer service-oriented professional with thorough knowledge of credit administration, policy, procedures and risk analysis. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated technical report writing skills. Thorough knowledge of accounting, economic & finance principles required. Experienced with Microsoft Office suite and proficiency in Excel required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage time required. Interacts with others in an effective and professional manner, with a team approach to work responsibilities.
