Responsibilities for the Commercial Electrician Installer:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Bend conduit and pull electrical wiring through walls, ceilings, and floors.
- Install switches, outlets, light fixtures, electrical panels, and other electrical components.
- Diagnose malfunctions in electrical systems and components using test equipment.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues, such as faulty wiring, damaged equipment, or power outages.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits to ensure proper grounding and safety compliance.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, for wear and tear.
- Always adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements for the Commercial Electrical Installer:
- 7+ years of hands-on Electrical experience.
- Journeyman's or Master's license is highly preferred.
- An associate degree (A.A.) or technical certification is preferred but not required.
- OSHA-10 certification a plus!
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to enforce the NEC code book.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
- Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Tech-savvy and excellent communication skills.
