    Technician Responsibilities As a Garage Door Technician for C&D Garage doors, you are responsible for safely installing, servicing, and maintaining commercial and residential garage doors and openers in Tucson and surrounding areas.

    Starting pay rate based on experience and ranges between $20-$30/hour. Benefits include matching IRA, healthcare, dental, vision, 6 paid holidays, and vacation days in addition to PTO.

    Job Duties: The most important thing for C&D Technicians is to conduct themselves with integrity and provide our clients with outstanding service. We expect honesty, technical know- how, and curiosity. We want to work with techs who want to add to their skills and knowledge.

    Basic job duties include:

    Install, service, and maintain Sectional, Rolling Sheet, and Rolling Steel Overhead Doors.

    Install, service, and maintain Automatic Door Openers.

    Service and maintain Loading Dock Equipment.

    Replace broken springs and other faulty components on residential Doors.

    Properly Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment.

    Record notes and adjust invoicing as needed in the field.

    Installer Qualifications: Must be an experienced technician who can safely:

    Install sectional, sheet, and rolling steel garage doors with assistance.

    Install a standard residential sectional door without assistance

    Install, measure, and convert springs.

    Install trolley and jackshaft motors.

    Troubleshoot and repair commercial and residential operators.

    Lift heavy and/or awkwardly shaped objects while at heights (e.g., on ladders).

    Many of our clients work inside steel buildings. Techs must be able to work under 115+ degree indoor work environments.
