We are looking for a motivated Garage Door Technician to join our growing team. You will be responsible for installing and servicing commercial garage doors while working with a fully licensed and certified commercial technician. Since our company offers service as well as new installations and remodels, technicians will travel to a variety of job sites, and each day will be unique. You will deal with customers on a daily basis throughout our service areas, so you need to be good at providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: • Calculate installation openings and perform site inspections for larger jobs • Use software to take notes, create quotes, and send invoices • Complete a thorough inspection, make a precise diagnosis of any problems with the present system, and give the customer their options • Attend meetings, follow all company policies, and participate in decision-making • Be on time for all appointments, and put forth your best effort to satisfy customers Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required • Effective communication, listening, and teamwork skills are necessary • A solid understanding of electrical circuitry and connections • Skills in math and the ability to solve problems are required, as is the ability to use a measuring tape • For this role, you need to have outstanding skills in providing service to customers • Comfortable with using power and hand tools Compensation: $21 - $28 hourly
