Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team! In this role, you will service, or repair heating and air conditioning systems in commercial establishments.
You have past experience in an HVAC service technician role and hold an EPA certification. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you love the feeling of a job well done and take pride in completing customer jobs with efficiency. A positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
Build strong customer relationships; build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations.
Provides preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems.
Troubleshoots units that are not working and replaces parts that are defective.
Communicates all service related information to service dept.
Performs related work as assigned.
Repairs refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, control systems, and humidity and temperature control systems.
Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment.
Provides startups and troubleshooting for a variety of commercial HVAC systems, meets with customers, evaluates their needs and makes recommendations.
Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairing of commercial/ industrial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems.
Qualifications:
Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education
Valid Drivers License
Refrigeration experience such as: ice machines, walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, etc.
Boiler experience
Chiller experience
EPA Universal Certification
High school diploma/GED. with formal HVAC training
Strong knowledge of HVAC, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
Knowledge of basic electricity and electrical and control systems
Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and lift 40 pounds
Ability to work in outdoor conditions
