    Position Summary: The Commercial Handyman at Lutes Property Services is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and light construction tasks within commercial facilities. This role focuses on supporting our clients with high-quality, reliable service, ensuring their properties remain in top condition. The ideal candidate will have experience with light commercial facility maintenance and repairs, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform a range of maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to drywall repairs, light plumbing, minor electrical work, painting, and carpentry.

    Conduct preventative maintenance on facility equipment and building systems as directed.

    Respond promptly to service calls and work orders, assessing the situation and implementing appropriate solutions to meet client needs.

    Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.

    Accurately complete and submit job-related paperwork, including work orders, time logs, and reports.

    Communicate effectively with clients and the Lutes Property Services team to ensure expectations are met and issues are resolved efficiently.

    Manage tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring proper care and reporting any maintenance needs.

    Identify and report any potential facility issues or safety concerns.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role, with a focus on commercial facility maintenance.

    Strong knowledge of building maintenance procedures, repairs, and construction techniques.

    Basic proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.

    Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.

    Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively manage time.

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

    Work Environment: This role operates primarily in client facilities, which may include commercial office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial environments. Appropriate PPE will be provided as needed.
